Absolutely! This is indictative of a builder who values the industry as much as the building process. Memberships in these trade groups aligns the builder to take industry based continuing education. It establishes a level of professional standards and excellence, that not all building companies adhere to, and while setting a level of performance for the builder. This process will answer the vast majority of questions you will have while minimizing your apprehension with the process.

4. How do I find the right plan for me?
|
Several options exist: You can tour our model homes, visit the online plan gallery at the DL Miller website, design your own plan, or use the DL Miller plan library to research a design.

5. How does the selection process work?
|
Based on your contract, you will have allowances and price groups within which you make selections. The price groups and allowances are based on your specifications, prior to the drafting of the contract. This insures you get what you expect.

6. Is cost/square footage an accurate
assessment of price?
|
Price should not be tied to square footage. Features, finishes, and amenities impact price more significantly than square footage.

7. Is a 2 story less money per square foot
than a ranch?
|
Yes and no. A colonial 2 story will stretch your budget further than a multi-roofed 2 story.

8. What is the normal time construction
time frame?
|
120 days from excavation of foundation.

|
